Why we went organic?
To understand why we went organic we have to start with a sorry. 11 years ago I had just gotten done spraying chemicals and my
chemical suit tore on me. I had just gotten home to my daughter who would always run out to the truck and give me a hug after a
hard days work. Sadly I was unable to giver her a hug because I didn’t want the chemicals to transfer off of my clothes onto her.
The look on her face when she started to cry made me realize that I didn’t like the influence that chemicals had on my life. I didn’t
like that I couldn't come home and hug my own daughter in fear of contaminating her and my family. I decided that Organic was
the best way to go. It gave me the opportunity not only to make a difference in my own family but also the world around me.
Changes that happened after transitioning to organic
After we made the change to organic I realized so many different things. It was like we had created a mini ecosystem on the
cranberry marsh. Now we can hear insects at night, and see frogs and other animals all day long.
